A 1–4 player fantasy adventure game of exploration and tactical combat in which players take on the role of Unointed – downtrodden serfs who live and die at the whims of the Cabal's high houses, but who seek to stamp their own mark on history.
Your story plays out over a campaign, formed of two alternating phases:
1. Journey through the Western Wildlands, an untamed realm beyond the fringes of Civilisation that forgives the ill-prepared traveller little. Build and traverse your map as you go, leaving unexplored areas for future playthroughs. Complete quests and solve investigations as you search for clues, allies and plot armour to aid you on your travels.
2. Encounter multitudes of foes on the pages of the lovingly rendered Book of Maps, from rival Unointed to vengeful Cabalites, vicious semi-sentient beasts, and nightmare monstrosities beyond the furthest reaches of the known world.
Hone your strength and experience over the course of the campaign to upgrade every element of your Unointed, gaining devastating abilities, cruel and unusual weaponry, and the services of increasingly deadly mercenaries from the furthest reaches of the known world.
In All's Well That Ends you can leave nothing to chance – no lucky roll of the dice will save you from what awaits. Instead you must use your tactics and impulse cards to navigate a web of cunning decisions, desperate combinations and (often begrudging) teamwork.
